Spillertown Baptist Church - 110 North Spillertown Rd., Marion, IL
About Spillertown Baptist
On the 18th day of April, 1890, a revival was held in the community of Spillertown.  Spillertown Baptist Church was organized, by the desire of the people, with fourteen charter members.
A new building was begun, and on July 6, 1901, a dedication service for the church building was held.  Improvements were made to the building over the next several years, and an Educational Building was added in June, 1979.
Ground was broken on May 14, 1997 for a new church building.  The building was completed and the first service in the new sanctuary was held on March 15, 1998.
